Ford explorer with LED Interior Lights Installation

Hi everyone. I planned to present everyone how to change those regular interior light bulbs for LED bulbs on 4th Gen Ford Explorer. I'm not sure if another person has or not posted this before, but here you go. I did the following on my 2007 Ford Explorer yesterday afternoon. This challenge required about 30-45 minutes to do. I am not responsible for any kind of injury YOU do to ones vehicle. Try this set up AT YOUR OWN RISK.

You are going to get 6 led bulbs. That is how much it needs for all interior bulbs. 3 sets of 2 bulbs per pack, hopefully I said this right with free shipping and delivery. I consider is a good deal. You are going to have some simple hand tools.

First factor is to get rid of screw from over head console.

As soon as you take remove screw, you will have to pop down front over head console, very carefully.

Simply planned to show everyone what contains the front part of over head console. After that you unplug connector to the lights.

Take off the 4 screws in the circle. Sorry for the picture, I didn't remember to take picture of product above flip over. (The 3rd photo indicates a better view of portion with screws)
(At least it illustrates the perspective of the standard bulb fitted. )

Graphic displays the LED bulb mounted. You might have to change (by turn them) them after you mount the overhead console, at least temporary.

I plugged them up to test them out. I think they are bright. (Turn on the LED bulbs, to view if they work. If one among them doesn't work, you may need to flip the bulb around. )

For the reinstalling the stuff is reverse of removal.

Here are some pictures previously mounted.
